Taking a big decision in the interest of farmers, the Yogi cabinet has fixed the minimum support price (MSP) of maize at Rs 2,400 per quintal. The government will start purchasing maize from June 5 and this arrangement will continue till July 31. With this decision, maize producing farmers are expected to get better prices for their crops.
Big increase in honorarium of government lawyers
The Cabinet has approved an increase of up to 50 percent in the honorarium and allowances of government lawyers working in district courts. Under this, there will be a significant increase in the retainership amount and the fees received per hearing.
