However, not everyone agreed with this criticism. Some users defended Farhan and said that it is common these days for Bollywood stars to perform at weddings and they get handsome fees for it. One user wrote, “Sing a few songs, perform for two-three hours, earn Rs 2-3 crore, along with free travel, five star hotel and first class tickets. Why wouldn’t anyone do this?” Another user said that even after working hard for years in films, there is no guarantee of success, whereas good and fixed income is generated from such events.
