The first statement of former general secretary of the trust, Champat Rai, in the Ayodhya Ram temple offering theft case has come to light. Champat Rai has said in a letter addressed to Ram devotees that false allegations have been made against him. He said that the final report of SIT is yet to come, after it comes I will answer every question.
Champat Rai has written in the letter that I have maintained silence till the SIT report comes. Unreasonable allegations are being made against me regarding theft of offerings. Many types of discussions are going on about me. I was sent to Ayodhya on behalf of the organization in October 1991. I have been a preacher for 45 years. My life is like an open book.
