The servers of Meta company’s social media platforms Facebook and Instagram have suddenly crashed due to which people are facing difficulty in running accounts on both the website and the app. On refreshing the page on Facebook’s official site, Sorry, Something went Wrong is visible. A line is also written below this that we are working on it and we will fix it soon.
Reports from users show that this problem is not limited to any particular area, as people from many countries have reported similar problems at almost the same time. In India too, users from many cities said that they are facing problems in using Meta-owned platforms.

Downdetector has also received 1,04,001 complaints on June 12 at 7:01 pm. 56 percent of the users are facing difficulty in running the Facebook app, 25 percent of the users are facing difficulty in logging into the account and 11 percent of the people are facing difficulty in accessing the Facebook website.

Till the time of writing the news, no official statement was issued by Meta regarding the reason for the outage. At present, it is not known when the service of Facebook and Instagram will be restored again.
