Ranveer Singh Ban Details: The war that broke out between superstar Ranveer Singh and veteran filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who recently gave blockbuster films like ‘Dhurandhar’ at the box office, has now come to the fore in front of the world. In fact, just 3 weeks before the shooting of ‘Don 3’, Ranveer Singh suddenly backed out from Farhan Akhtar’s big project due to creative differences, his decision caused a huge loss of about Rs 45 crore to the makers. Angered by his attitude, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a notice of ‘non-cooperation’ against Ranveer Singh and banned him. Due to this ban imposed on Ranveer, there has been a stir in the entire film industry.
Ranveer Singh But due to this ban, workers or technicians working in the film industry can no longer work with them.

Why was Ranveer Singh banned?
The biggest reason for the Federation (FWICE) to impose ‘non-cooperation’ i.e. a kind of ban on Ranveer Singh has been his attitude. When the makers of Excel Entertainment complained about this loss to the film body, the federation sent 3 official reminder notices one after the other to Ranveer Singh to resolve the matter.
But Ranveer did not respond to these notices. After the press conference was announced, Ranveer’s manager tried to present the actor’s side by sending an email, but the federation rejected it and directly asked the actor to appear. In fact, the Federation did not like the superstar’s attitude and considering himself above the organization at all and in a press conference held in Mumbai on Monday, he said that till Ranveer does not hold a meeting, he will be banned.
What is the dispute between Ranveer Singh and Farhan?
Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar The root of this high-profile dispute going on between Ranveer is Ranveer leaving Don 3. Ranveer Singh had signed a big deal of three films with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production house Excel Entertainment. The first film of this deal was ‘Don 3’. The makers say that Ranveer had full consent on every small and big update and script of the film. On his trust, the production house allotted a huge budget for the film, finalized locations abroad and made advance payments to the crew members. But just 3 weeks before the entire unit was to leave for the shooting, Ranveer suddenly pulled out. For Farhan, this is not only a loss of money but also of his time and reputation.

Why did Ranveer Singh leave ‘Don 3’?
Ranveer Singh may have maintained silence on this walkout, but in many media reports it was claimed that the reason behind this was ‘creative differences’ and ‘change in the actor after stardom’. In fact, from the time Ranveer was announced as the new face of this franchise in the year 2024 till now, there have been many changes in the script of the film. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ was released in December 2025 and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. After this success, Ranveer’s stature and market value increased a lot. After this, when the final script and direction vision of ‘Don 3’ was presented to him, he was not completely satisfied with it. He wanted some changes for which Farhan Akhtar was not ready, and the matter reached the point of leaving the film. Although in the statement issued by Ranveer Singh, he has said that he respects everyone, but he does not want to talk about this matter, for now he wants to concentrate on work.
What will be the effect of the ban on Ranveer?
The ground effect of this non-cooperation can create a big crisis for Ranveer Singh’s career and his upcoming films. About 5 lakh Bollywood employees come under FWICE, which includes lightmen, spotboys, make-up artists, cameramen and set workers. After this ban, no worker will set foot on Ranveer’s sets. Although, after the success of ‘Dhurandhar’, Ranveer is now a favorite of big studios, but most of the studios or production houses will not start their shooting without messing with the workers and film unions. It is impossible for any film to go on floors without workers, so Ranveer Singh himself will soon have to come forward and settle this ₹45 crore dispute on the table.
