June 22, 2026 by Uma Shankar

The former Chief Minister shared a post on social media on the case of theft of offerings in Ayodhya Shri Ram Temple. He wrote, every Sanatani is extremely saddened by the theft of offerings in Shri Ram temple. He told that he will go to Shri Ram temple for darshan on Friday. Minister Kapil Mishra has taken a dig at this post of Arvind Kejriwal. He asked the question, before or after Jumma namaz? In fact, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced to visit Ayodhya Ram temple on Friday amid reports of donation theft.

Every Sanatani is extremely saddened by the theft of offerings in Ayodhya Shri Ram temple.

On Friday I will go to Shri Ram Temple for darshan.

What did Kejriwal claim?

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal had recently claimed that “big names” are involved in the Ram Temple donation theft case. He said that if his identity was revealed the government could fall. He said in one, “Ram temple is the center of faith of crores of Hindus. Donation worth crores of rupees was stolen from the same Ram temple, yet not a single FIR was registered. Who is the government saving? Those involved in this sin, no matter how big they are, should be put straight in jail. It is necessary to protect the faith of crores of people.”

Kejriwal wrote, “Donations worth crores of rupees have been stolen from the Ram temple in Ayodhya. It is being said that cash worth about Rs 200 crores has been stolen. Also, many boxes full of diamonds and jewelery have also been stolen. And not a single FIR has been registered. Neither the UP Police, nor the ED nor the CBI has registered an FIR.” He said, “They (BJP) have governments both at the Center and in UP. Neither any raid took place, nor any arrest.”

In this case, on Saturday, Hanumangarhi’s chief priest Mahant Sanjay Das expressed confidence in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that investigation will reveal the truth and strict action should be taken against whoever is found guilty.
