Entry of 3 specialist women coaches, historic decision of BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has taken a historic decision to change the condition and direction of women’s cricket. BCCI has appointed three specialist women coaches at the Center of Excellence located in Bengaluru. For the first time, BCCI has taken this step in women’s cricket. BCCI has appointed Nooshin Al Khadeer as bowling coach, Sunetra Paranjape as batting coach and V Ramu Vanitha as fielding coach. He is only 35 years old. For the first time, specialist coaches have been appointed for women cricketers in the Center of Excellence.

Who is Nooshin Al Khadeer?

Noosheen Al Khadeer Has played 78 ODI matches for India in which he has 100 wickets in his name. This off-spinner also played 5 test matches in which he took 14 wickets. He took one wicket in 2 T20s. This right-handed bowler was also the world number 1 bowler in the year 2003. In the 2005 World Cup, his economy rate was only 3.05 and the Indian team reached the final. Although Team India had lost to Australia. As head coach, Nooshin also made the Indian women’s Under-19 team win the T20 World Cup in 2005.

Who is Sunetra Paranjape?

Sunetra Paranjape was born on 9 May 1980 in Mumbai. This player played 3 Test and 28 ODI matches for India. Sunetra Paranjape scored 322 runs in 28 matches at an average of just 15.33. He scored only one half-century in his career. He also has 11 wickets in his name in ODI. Paranjape made his debut in 2002 and played his last international match in 2007.

Who is V Ramu Vanitha?

Talking about V Ramu Vanita, she is a former Indian cricketer and she played 6 ODI and 16 T20 matches for Team India. This player scored 85 runs in ODI and scored 216 runs with his bat in T20. Vanita retired at the age of just 32 and then took the path of coaching. Vanita became the coach of Shivamogga Lions in Karnataka’s T20 tournament Maharaja Trophy. She has also been in the men’s scout team of RCB. Vanita has been the fielding coach of RCB in the Women’s Premier League.
