The police of Khunti district of Jharkhand got a big success on Sunday morning. In the encounter between police and banned militant organization PLFI in Tilmi forest of Jariagarh police station area, the top commander of the organization, whose name is Shravan Das, was injured. It is being told that the commander was shot in the leg during the encounter, after which the police arrested him.

It happened in the forest adjacent to the border of Jariagarh police station area. In this action, the police succeeded in arresting half a dozen members of Shravan Das’s squad. The captured militants include Samu Dhodrai, Sudarshan Soy, Salim Bodra, Harshit Gudiya, Umar Khan, Alias Neel Khan and Vishnu Manjhi.
Police action on secret information
Actually, the police had received secret information that PLFI militants had gathered in Tilmi forest to carry out some big conspiracy. After this information, Jariagarh and Karra police jointly started the raid operation. During this time, as soon as the police team reached the forest, the militants started firing indiscriminately on them. In retaliation, the police also opened fire in self-defense, in which Commander Shravan Das was shot.
Weapons recovered from militants
Confirming the incident, SP Rishabh Garg said that four pistols, several country-made pistols and more than a dozen live cartridges have been recovered from the arrested militants. Apart from this, many objectionable documents have also been found from the spot. The most important recovery is a diary, in which the mobile numbers of many contractors of the area and a detailed list of possible incidents are recorded.
Many serious allegations against Shravan Das
SP said that Shravan Das was synonymous with terror in Torpa and Karra areas. Many serious cases are registered against him like firing at railway construction site, arson and extortion. He was in the wanted list of the police for a long time and PCA has also been imposed on him. At present, the police is conducting a search operation in the forest so that other people associated with this gang can also be caught.
