Empty treasure, bowl in hand! After America, Pakistan now begs for 47 million dollars from Canada

July 23, 2026 by Uma Shankar

The troubled economic condition of Pakistan, which promotes terrorism, is not hidden from anyone. The nature of this neighboring country, stuck in the quagmire of poverty, has once again been exposed before the world. Pakistan, which used to stand with a bowl in front of super power America, has now begged billions of rupees from Canada in the name of financial help.

This financial assistance was taken during the visit of Canada’s Indian-origin Foreign Minister Anita Anand to Pakistan, under which a new package of 47 million dollars i.e. Rs 4,53,75,46,850 was given to Pakistan. Pakistan has not received this help just like that.

First visit by Canadian Foreign Minister in 2 decades

The Shehbaz Sharif government took full advantage of its plight during the first visit by a Canadian foreign minister to Pakistan in the last two decades. Seeing the poor condition of Pakistan, Canada has announced to provide huge assistance of 47 million dollars to it in the name of security and development.

The special thing is that on one hand Pakistan is troubled by internal rebellion, insurgency in Balochistan and terrorism growing on its own land, while on the other hand it is extending its hands to foreign powers and begging to keep its economy alive on ventilator. Following its old habit of pleading in front of America and all the western countries, Pakistan has now succeeded in extorting money from the Canadian treasury as well.

Conspiracy against India and Kashmir rage

In return for this kindness of Canada, Pakistan left no stone unturned in carrying forward its nefarious agenda. During this high-profile meeting, Pakistan spewed venom against India. The neighboring country complained to Canada about India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty. Frightened by India’s tough stance after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in April last year, Pakistan has now started pleading in the name of international mediation.

At the same time, the old and breathless issue of Kashmir was once again raised by the Pakistani leadership in front of the Canadian Foreign Minister, so that a diplomatic front could be created against India. Apart from this, the secret consultation of the Canadian Foreign Minister with the Pakistani Army Chief was also useful.

game of terrorism and diplomacy

Anita Anand’s meeting with Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asif Munir in Rawalpindi made it clear in which direction this game of terrorism and diplomacy is moving.

On one hand, Pakistan is failing to provide basic facilities to its people and is extending its hands for loans all over the world, while on the other hand, it is leaving no opportunity to run anti-India propaganda. Is also spending money in its name.
