June 17, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Today Rahul Gandhi has reached Kota city of Rajasthan, which is called the city of education, against the paper leak. Before this program, Rahul Gandhi had said that every paper leak, every canceled examination, every incomplete recruitment – is not just a failure of the system, it is an attack on millions of dreams. He told the students, “Come, let us together become a roar that will be impossible to ignore. Starting from Kota – then to every corner of the country.” On this call of Rahul Gandhi, thousands of students have reached Dussehra ground in Kota to listen to him.

Attacking the central government, Rahul Gandhi said in his address, “Rahul Gandhi said that I will not talk about anything political today, I did not come to talk about BJP, Congress or any other issue, I will only talk about your issue. I walked 4000 kilometers from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, I met lakhs of youth, there were a lot of questions. A lot of people were asked questions, someone said that some want to become engineers, some want to become lawyers.” Rahul Gandhi said that there are only 5 options which the system wants to make for the students.

Rahul Gandhi further said that I asked him to tell the truth, what is in your heart. The truth was that some wanted to become an actor, some wanted to become a dancer, some wanted to become an astrologer. I asked them how many of you girls wanted to become pilots, not even a single girl said yes. After this, Rahul told that he told his pilot to take four-five girls in the helicopter, the girls went in the helicopter and as soon as they came back, I asked what do they want to do, then they said that they want to become pilots. Rahul said that our system does not want to fulfill the dreams of the youth.

Government takes money from students for 5 ministries

Rahul Gandhi said these things when he was interacting with the students on the stage. There were only Rahul and students on the stage and there were no leaders. Saumya Meena, Sania Gupta and Zeeshan Alam on stage. Giving data, Rahul Gandhi said that apart from NEET, the government takes as much money from students through different exams as it spends in 5 ministries. Still, there are irregularities in the examinations. Rahul Gandhi said, “Due to increasing competition and limited resources in the country, today parents of 22 lakh NEET students are being looted. This business of education is a crime.”

You are facing a very difficult situation – Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi says, “My intention is not to discourage you, because you should dream. And I have full confidence that you will succeed, but I want to tell this country that you are facing a very difficult situation. That is why we saw that tragic incident. This is not such a stress that our children should have to go through and in fact this is the main message that I want to convey through this meeting…”
