Kiran Rao Next Projects: Aamir Khan’s ex-wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao are currently working on about five projects together. His projects include films and shows from genres like supernatural horror, dark noir (dark crime thriller) and comedy drama. Kiran made a strong comeback on the big screen after almost 13 years in 2024 with ‘Lapata Ladies’. Even though the film did not perform as expected at the box office, Kiran’s bag was filled with praise. Now he has spoken openly about his next projects and taking a long gap.

The film ‘Missing Ladies’ came about 13 years after ‘Dhobi Ghat’. When interviewed by Variety India regarding such a long gap Kiran Rao When asked, she said that I also want to keep doing films one after the other. He said that every director wants this. During this he also mentioned director Rohit Shetty. She says, “I wish Rohit Shetty was there. In fact, when he is editing one film, he is directing the next film and promoting the third film.”

For this reason Kiran Rao does not do many films

Kiran further adds, “If I had the confidence to do this without worrying about the consequences, I would have been able to make more films. But I am someone who is very careful about the feasibility of the project, the story and what I want to say. This is something that everyone should think about because making a film requires a lot of resources. This is not a trivial thing. I try to take care of it. Kiran Rao’s next projects

Kiran Rao said during this time, “I am currently working on four-five different projects. The first film is a supernatural-horror type film, of my kind. Then there is a noir type film, which will be like a social commentary. And there is one which is something beyond Laapta, which is a comedy drama type. So right now there are three films which we are writing together. There are some shows also. But I I don’t know much about this format, especially in this regard, Aamir Khan Productions has given me complete freedom to do whatever I want, and I don’t know whether I will be able to do it well or not with those people who keep giving me suggestions.
