The couple told that it has been two years since their marriage and when they started calculating their expenses, they were shocked. They are badly stuck between the burden of debt, household expenses and future dreams like owning a house, children and retirement. They do not understand how to create an emergency fund and get out of this quagmire.

According to the post, this couple is paying a huge EMI of Rs 85,980 every month. This includes personal loan of Rs 70,154, bike loan of Rs 12,000, education loan of Rs 3,000 and phone EMI of Rs 826. At the same time, Rs 53,500 is directly spent every month including rent, society maintenance, ration, electricity-water bill, travel and medical expenses. Apart from this, the couple keeps aside Rs 28,000 every month for travelling, personal expenses and minor needs of the family. After adding all these things, only a nominal amount of Rs 2,520 is left in the pocket.
