This film not only made huge collections in India but also got good earnings in foreign countries. But the process of theatrical release of the film is still going on. Now this film has been released in theaters in Japan. It was expected that this film would also get success like RRR at the Japanese box office. But at present this does not seem to be happening. The first day of release for the film has been quite disappointing.

After making great collections worldwide and also registering record views on OTT platforms, the makers decided to release this film in Japan. But like Pushpa 2, this film is also not doing well at the Japanese box office. The film is not getting audience.

Dhurandhar 2 gets a shock on its opening day in Japan

If reports are to be believed, this film was released in Japan on July 10, 2026. But the film got only 80 screens. Even after this, the attendance of only 900 people was recorded to watch the film. It clearly means that the footfall of this film in Japan was less than 1000 on the first day. Dhurandhar movie Has received a very warm welcome everywhere. In such a situation, the response this film is getting from the people of Japan will be shocking for the makers too. There is no doubt that Dhurandhar is the most popular film of India till date. Even after this, Aditya Dhar’s film is not getting audience.

How much did the biggest franchises earn worldwide?

The first part of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar franchise had collected more than 1400 crores and proved to be an all-time blockbuster. Within a year, the second part of the film was released which collected more than Rs 1800 crore. With this, the total earning of the film franchise has reached more than Rs 3200 crore. The film has also received very good response on online streaming platforms. But even after this, the makers were hopeful that this film would make very good collections in Japan. But at present nothing like this seems to be happening in the beginning.

RRR’s dominance in Japan

Currently, SS Rajamouli’s Oscar winning film RRR tops the list of highest grossing films in Japan. The collection of this film was going quite well. The film had earned more than Rs 1200 crore. This film was a blockbuster in Japan and according to reports, it collected around Rs 135 crore.
