Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday attended the Trade Commission meeting in Jalandhar along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. During this, he listened to the problems of traders, shopkeepers and businessmen and assured immediate solution. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is always ready to help traders, shopkeepers and businessmen. For this purpose, the government has constituted the Punjab State Traders Commission and is providing immediate solutions to the small problems of the traders.
Describing small traders as the backbone of the economy, he said that before this no government had heard the problems of small traders. In the previous governments, extortion was done from traders, which has been completely stopped by the Bhagwant Mann government.
Formation of Punjab State Traders Commission
communicating with traders Arvind Kejriwal Said that our government has completed four years of working. There has never been any government in the history of Punjab which could sit face to face and talk to the people after working for four years. First came the governments of Congress, BJP and Akali Dal. When their leaders went among the people after four years, people did not allow them to enter the villages and stood with shoes to beat them.
Arvind Kejriwal said that Aam Aadmi Party has become the mayor of Bathinda. During the road show there on Friday, people were coming out of their shops to welcome us. It was clearly visible from their body language that they were very happy to see us. The way the people of Punjab are praising the work of the government, this is probably happening for the first time in the history of Punjab that a government has completed four years and people are liking it so much that they want it to come to power again.
About 800 small and big markets in Punjab
Arvind Kejriwal said that if a road breaks down or a street light pole gets damaged, one has to make several trips to the offices and the MLA to get it repaired. To overcome this problem, the AAP government formed the Punjab State Traders Commission, so that the voice of a small trader can directly reach the Chief Minister. This commission works at the state, district and local level. Under this, about 800 small and big markets have been identified across Punjab. Every problem of the traders goes directly to the Chief Minister and is immediately resolved. Before this, there has not been any such government in which even the voice of a small businessman directly reaches the Chief Minister and the CM himself solves every problem?
Referring to drug addiction in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal said that today tremendous action is being taken against drug addicts, drug sellers and big smugglers in Punjab. Bulldozers are running on their properties. From Friday, Punjab Police has started a new campaign, under which action has been taken against the dealers who send drug money out through Hawala.
