After Siddaramaiah’s resignation from the post of CM, DK Shivakumar took oath as the 25th Chief Minister of Karnataka today. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered him the oath of office and secrecy. DK Shivkumar took oath in the name of Gangadhar Ajjayi along with the Constitution. Gangadhar Ajjayya considers DK Shivkumar as his guru and role model. The oath taking ceremony was also organized by Ajjayya Math on the date and time fixed by it. DK Shivakumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka after paying floral tributes on the portrait of Gangadhar Ajjayya placed on the stage. During the oath he had the Constitution book in his hand. DK Shivakumar took every decision related to the swearing in of the post of Chief Minister under the guidance of Dr. Karivrishabha Shivayogeshwar, the current head of Ajjayya Math. Before taking oath as CM, DK Shivakumar along with his family went to the branch of Ajjayya Math in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru and spent time there.
