Amit Sial himself had told about this in an interview. He had said, “In Mirzapur Munna Bhaiya The role was offered to me first. However, I could not appear to be Pankaj Tripathi’s son. In such a situation, another option was seen for this character.” Amit Sial was seen in the role of ACP Maurya in this series. He also said in the interview, “I am happy with the character I played in the series. He was a classic character.”
Divyendu Sharma got the role of Bablu Pandit.
In an interview, actor Divyendu Sharma had also told that he first got the role of Guddu Pandit’s younger brother Bablu, which was later played by Vikrant Massey. Divyendu had said that when he went to the office of Excel Entertainment, he was offered the character of Bablu. He liked the character. However, while reading the script, the role of Munna also seemed quite right to him. He felt that this was a very special character.
