Kodand
Kodanda was a very divine and powerful bow. This bow has been described many times in Ramcharit Manas written by Swami Tulsidas. Lord Rama had destroyed many demons including Ravana, Kumbhakarna with this bow. It is believed that because it was made of very hard bamboo, this bow was named Kodand. It is believed that in order to dry up the ocean in anger, Lord Rama used this very bow to direct Brahmastra. This bow was five and a half hands long and weighed 100 kg.
Sharng
Sharng bow is considered to be the favorite bow of Lord Vishnu. It is also called Sharkh.
