Directed by director H Vinoth and starring Thalapathy Vijay, the film was stuck for a long time. At present, it is going to be released in July only. After this, H Vinoth is going to work on a new project, in which he wants to cast actor Dhanush, but the matter does not seem to be progressing. The film director also says that he wants Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi to be seen sharing the screen.
Actor Dhanush is a South actor who has given many hit films and is also liked by the Hindi speaking audience. He has appeared in Bollywood films like ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Shamitabh’. At present, due to dates, there is very little hope of her next project with H Vinoth.
Why are things not working out with Dhanush?
Speaking during an interview, director H. Vinoth said, “My film with Dhanush sir is not being made because he already has many projects and the budget we had fixed for this film was also not completed. In such a situation, either the film will be postponed for a long time or it may be shelved.”
Sethupathi and Dhanush do a film together
H Vinoth also said, “I wish that Dhanush sir and Vijay Sethupathi sir work together in the same film. If that is not possible, then at least I will have to do separate films with them.”
When will ‘Jan Neta’ be released?
Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Jan Neta’ (Jana Nayakan) will be released in theaters on 23 July 2026. This is a political action drama, in which Thalapathy Vijay is playing the role of a former police officer. This is a film in which a common man fights corruption. His personal life becomes a fight for the people. He plays the role of people’s protector (people’s leader) by fighting the corrupt people hidden inside the system.
Dhanush’s upcoming projects
Talking about actor Dhanush’s work front, he is shooting for his project, ‘D55’ (official name – ‘OM’). It is being directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. Actor Mammootty will also be seen in it. This film is ready for release on 16 October 2026. Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah and Sai Pallavi will also be seen in the film. Apart from this, Dhanush also has some projects in the pipeline.
