At present, there is tension in Madhya Pradesh Congress between former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and Congress State President Jitu Patwari. Now different voices are being heard within the Congress regarding the allegations made by Congress State President Jitu Patwari on the Madhya Pradesh government. Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh held a press conference in Ujjain and gave a clean chit to the Chief Minister, calling Jitu Patwari’s allegations baseless.
Digvijay Singh During his statement, he also used the word broker, due to which there is an uproar in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. In a press conference held in Ujjain, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said that the allegations made regarding Veer Bharat Trust are not true.
Showing the documents, he said that Veer Bharat Trust is a government trust, whose chairman is the Chief Minister himself. There is no irregularity in giving the building of the Scindia royal family to the trust for one rupee. Digvijay Singh said that some brokers make false allegations to earn money and unnecessarily blow such matters out of proportion.
Jitu Patwari’s allegation rejected
In fact, four days ago, Congress State President Jitu Patwari in Delhi had alleged that land worth about Rs 500 crore in Ujjain was given to a trust for just one rupee. He had claimed that the member of the trust is the Chief Minister’s cultural advisor Shri Ram Tiwari and the Chief Minister should answer on this.
After Digvijay Singh’s statement, BJP intensified its attack on Congress. MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that Digvijay Singh himself has proved Jitu Patwari’s allegations wrong on the basis of government documents. He said that Veer Bharat Trust is an age-old government trust, whose objective is to preserve the stories and literature of the brave sons of the country. Rameshwar Sharma appealed to Jitu Patwari that allegations should be made on the basis of facts and evidence and not in political haste.
Minister of State in the state government, Krishna Gaur also said that Jitu Patwari makes baseless allegations against the government every day and in this matter, Digvijay Singh himself has made it clear that the allegations are baseless.
Congress’s troubles increased due to conflict between leaders
At the same time, Congress leader and former minister PC Sharma said that the allegations made by Jitu Patwari are completely true. He alleged that BJP is presenting Digvijay Singh’s statement in its own way and Congress still demands an impartial investigation into the entire matter related to Veer Bharat Trust.
However, all is not well between Digvijay Singh and Jitu Patwari since last few days. A few days ago, during a meeting, Digvijay Singh had said that Jitu Patwari has very good relations with Venugopal Rao. He can get them to do all kinds of work. After this Jitu Patwari reached Digvijay Singh’s house. Not only this, when Congress was holding a press conference regarding Meenakshi Natarajan’s case.
During that time, problems had also arisen with Digvijay Singh regarding the meeting. In the press conference, eight leaders spoke on the issue of Meenakshi Natarajan, but as soon as Digvijay Singh was asked to say something, he refused to speak in the press conference. Now Jitu Patwari has made such serious allegations by holding a press conference in Delhi and his allegations were rejected by Digvijay Singh in Ujjain.
