On Sunday, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran and America have reached a deal framework. Now after reaching France, during the meeting with Emmanuel Macron, he said that the Iran deal has been signed, the Strait of Hormuz has partially opened and ships are already passing through there. Trump further said that it will be fully opened by Friday amid the fall in oil prices and the rise in the stock market.
Earlier, a Reuters report said that on Monday, America and Iran have signed an agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) to end the war that has been going on for almost four months. Officials said that the signing program will take place on Friday and the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz will gradually increase.

An American official said that this agreement has been signed by President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Speaker of Iran’s Parliament Mohammad Bagheri Kalibaf.
Movement of ships will increase in the Strait of Hormuz
While talking to journalists, the American official said that there will be a signing program on Friday. The US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, “You will see that there will be a significant increase in the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz, in fact it has started now and it will gradually increase over time.” “We may not completely return to normal in two weeks, but we will see a significant increase in ship traffic in the strait,” the official said.
What do the statements of America and Iran reveal?
The US and Iran said in their statements that they have agreed on the terms of ending the war and reopening the strait. The news has come as a relief to markets, although the deal may depend on an end to the fighting in Lebanon and it defers talks on Tehran’s nuclear programme. On which many ministers of Iran have expressed objection.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was the first to comment on this and wrote on his Flipkart channel, “Trump’s agreement does not bind us. We are not part of this agreement. It does not guarantee our security. We should not compromise on anything less than the elimination of Hezbollah. We should not retreat even an inch of the land that our troops have captured and liberated from terrorist structures.”
The agreement will be signed on June 19
The signing of this deal is scheduled to take place in Geneva on 19th. According to reports, Presidential charge may also be included in this. Although it is still just a framework, the agreement is the biggest breakthrough towards resolving the conflict, which has killed thousands of people and disrupted energy markets since the joint US and Israeli attacks on Iran in February.
