Faisal Shaikh on Lockup 2: Social media star Faisal Shaikh, popularly known as ‘Mr Faisu’, has become a well-known face on the small screen. These days he remains in the news regarding his breakup with Jannat Mirza. Recently such news came out about him that he is going to enter ‘Lockup 2’ soon. Faisal Shaikh has reacted to these rumours. Along with this, Faisal Shaikh also talked about his relationship with TV stars and his future plans.
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Faisal Shaikh talked about his work in ‘Laughter Chefs’, his plans to venture into films and OTT shows and whether he will be a part of ‘Lock Up 2’ or not. During this, Mr. Faisu told that he likes to watch ‘Laughter Chefs’, in which the contestants pull each other’s legs in a funny manner and spend good time together on the set. Talking about his experience in the show, the actor said that now all the contestants have become like a family.
What did Faisal Shaikh say?
Faisal Shaikh said in the conversation, “In any event you will see them all together. It is a good thing to live together and work together. There is a different fun in it.” He also said that if the makers of the show call him again, he will definitely participate in it. Regarding comedy-actor Krishna Abhishek, Shaikh said that he is like a potato, who fits perfectly everywhere. Faisal said, “He is doing good work in films and comedy and his relations with other artistes are also good.”

He further said that comedian Bharti Singh is like cardamom, which is liked in both tea and biryani. Describing Karan Kundrra as ‘clove’ he said that he is in great demand these days. For them, Ankita Lokhande is like ‘Lal Mirch’, while Tejashwi Prakash and Jannat Zubair are like ‘Bird’s Eye Chilli’ (small but spicy chilli) – “Small packet, big bang.”
When asked about his future plans, the ‘Celebrity Master Chef’ contestant said that he does not want to do reality shows anymore. Even if he ever becomes a part of such a show, he will think not as a contestant but as a host or gang leader. He said, “I am not running after new reality shows nor am I interested in them. Right now my focus is on improving myself and working on films and OTT platforms.”
Did you get the offer of lockup?
At present, ‘Lock Up 2’ is in the news a lot. Did he also get an offer to be a part of this show? Talking about this, Faisal Shaikh said that perhaps the makers of the show want to give a chance to new faces.
