Dhumavati Jayanti 2026: Every year, Dhumavati Jayanti is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Dhumavati Jayanti is going to be celebrated tomorrow i.e. on 22nd June. This day is of Mata Dhumvati. Dhumavati Mata is the seventh goddess among the 10 Mahavidyas. According to the legend, Mother Sati, saddened by the insult of Mahadev, jumped into the Yagya Kund and immolated herself. After this, the smoke that arose from his body is considered to be the origin of Mother Dhumavati. After birth the mother was distraught with hunger.
