Political uproar continues over Johar University in Uttar Pradesh. SP’s 28-member delegation will go to Rampur today. This will be led by Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey. Johar will demand to stop the demolition of the university. Will protest for this. A memorandum will be submitted to District Magistrate Rampur. The delegation includes present MLAs as well as former MLAs. Let us tell you that Johar University was established in the year 2006 and its founder is Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan.
Bulldozer action is being taken on this by the District Administration Rampur. SP leaders are angry about this and are going to Rampur to support Azam Khan. SP says that running bulldozers on the university is like destroying the educational structure and ‘right to education’. This is contrary to the constitutional spirit. This step of the administration and government is like depriving the poor, backward and Dalit sections of the society from education. People of all religions are getting education from here at nominal fees.
