This entry of Congress took place on the second day of police lathicharge on CJP’s Sansad Chalo campaign in Delhi and due to its performance, Congress remained in the news throughout the day. Top leaders including Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were detained and then released, but CJP kept distance from the entire matter.

Meanwhile, Sonam Wangchuk’s fast continued on Tuesday. Although Sonam Wangchuk was shifted from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital in view of the High Court’s decision, AAP attacked her over the Congress agitation. At the same time, BJP also termed the Congress movement as the beginning of a very wrong and dangerous tradition.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi released a video on Tuesday night saying that the government was not interested in the debate in Parliament. Ruckus due to Congress dharna near PM residence

On Monday, there was an uproar throughout the day in the Parliament amid discussion across the country about the CJP movement and police action against its supporters. On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi went on foot from Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s house towards PM residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Kharege, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, KC Venugopal, Karnataka CMDK Shivkumar and other party MPs also joined him.

Sat on a dharna near the PM residence and demanded that not only Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, but also PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah resign over NEET paper leak and other such issues.

Rahul Gandhi said that it is their right to protest wherever they want, which Jitendra Singh later said was against democratic principles.

After this, the police ended the protest by detaining Rahul Gandhi and others. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and many others were among those detained. Meanwhile, the Congress posted a video of Rahul and others being picked up by the police, and wrote: Arrest us, put us in jail, it doesn’t matter, the strength of our Satyagraha is more than the authority of the Modi government. We will have to pay for the atrocities committed on our children.

AAP’s attack on Congress movement

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had not visited Wangchuk or the site at all during the fast, but Gandhi ran a separate, parallel campaign, ‘Students’ Echo’, to address the same paper-leak complaints.

AAP leaders termed Rahul Gandhi’s dharna as a jugalbandi between the Congress and the BJP government. AAP Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bhardwaj said senior Congress leadership remained silent on the GenZ movement for weeks, while social media accounts linked to the party were trying to weaken the cockroach movement from day one.

Pradhan called Congress’s demonstration a political farce

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also attacked Congress. He said on Twitter that Congress decided to stage a dharna outside the Prime Minister’s house, which caused inconvenience to the public and the fixed security protocol was ignored. Despite the government saying it was ready for a full discussion, the Congress chose political drama instead of democratic debate. His aim was never to provide a solution for the students, but to create chaos for political headlines.

He said that for Kirahul Gandhi, it is not about students. This is about creating confrontation after opening all the right avenues of discussion. Our government is 100% committed to discussing NEET and addressing every genuine concern of our youth in the House. Indian students deserve better than being props in political campaigns. They deserve certainty instead of chaos, solutions instead of slogans and responsibility instead of confusion. We owe our students more than just anger. We are responsible for providing them with answers, corrections and accountability. This is exactly what our government is committed to delivering.

Nitin Naveen attacked Rahul Gandhi

At the same time, BJP National President Nitin Naveen said on Congress’s performance that Rahul Gandhi’s conduct today was completely indecent and condemnable. Despite having the dignified post of Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi does not take it seriously, this has become clear from his behavior today. Protest and anarchy are different things in democracy. When protest crosses the limits of decorum, it takes the form of anarchy.

He said that the way Rahul Gandhi and his team tried to spread anarchy by visiting the Prime Minister’s residence today, it gives a clear message that they are becoming the embodiment of anarchist politics and not the politics of protest. The issues put forward for discussion by Rahul Gandhi were also accepted. But unfortunately, a person holding the position of Leader of Opposition has retreated from the issues raised by him. This clearly reflects his immaturity. Every type of dialogue with the opposition is acceptable on the floor of Parliament, but the people of the country will never accept this type of behaviour.

CJP kept distance from Congress movement

Throughout all this, CJP founder Abhijit Deepke’s posts remained entirely focused on Monday’s action and CJP’s own supporters. Deepke said the agitation would continue, even though they had called off further marches to Parliament to avoid further injuries. There was no mention of Rahul Gandhi’s protest in any of his posts.

This is as the CJP has positioned itself since its inception, although some changes have been made at times. Deepke has repeatedly said that the movement is not dependent on any political party. Meanwhile, Sonam Wangchuk, who was fasting, was transferred from Safdarjung to Medanta after the order of the High Court.
