On May 25, President Draupadi Murmu honored 131 people with Padma Awards, the country’s highest civilian honour, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. On this special occasion, many people from the cinema world were also given this honour. Late actor Dharmendra was posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan for his important contribution to Hindi cinema. His wife, actress and MP Hema Malini came to receive this honour.
On this special occasion, along with Hema, her daughter Ahana Deol was also seen sitting in the audience. Ahana looked very emotional on this occasion. Hema’s eyes were also moist. Now second daughter Esha Deol wrote an emotional note remembering her father.
