‘Dhamaal’ box office
Dhamaal, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Choudhary, Asrani and Javed Jaffrey, was first released on 7 September 2007. This film was made with a budget of only Rs 17 crore. ‘Dhamaal’, full of comedy, had made a box office collection of approximately Rs 51 crore at that time. ‘Double Dhamaal’ box office collection
The second part of Dhamaal ‘Double Dhamaal’ was released on 24 June 2011. Like the first part, this too was directed by director Indrakuar. The old actors were seen again in the film. Apart from this, Kangana Ranaut and Malaika Arora were also a part of this film. ‘Double Dhamaal’ was made with a budget of around Rs 30 crores and earned around Rs 71 crores worldwide.
‘Total Dhamaal’ became a big hit
The third version of Dhamaal franchise, ‘Total Dhamaal’ was released on 22 February 2019 and it was also made under the direction of director Indra Kumar. It had left both the first parts behind and had earned more than Rs 232 crore worldwide. However, the budget of this film was also more than the previous two franchises. ‘Total Dhamaal’ was made for approximately Rs 105 crores.
‘Dhamal 4’ collection
‘Dhamal 4’ collected Rs 14 crore on the opening day and the film’s earnings increased on the second day as well. On the second day i.e. Saturday it earned Rs 22.50 crore and on the third day it earned Rs 28.50 crore. In this way, ‘Dhamal 4’ did a net business of Rs 65 crore at the domestic box office in three days.
Getting good response abroad
‘Dhamal 4’ is being liked a lot in foreign countries also. This multi starrer comedy drama has made an overseas collection of Rs 14 crore in 3 days. The film made a gross collection of Rs 78 crore in India and in this way, if the figures of overseas earnings are added to it, then the world wide collection becomes Rs 92 crore. That means within three days the film has shattered the all-time collection of the first two films.
Will ‘Dhamal 4’ be the biggest film of Dhamaal franchise?
The fourth film of Dhamaal has got a great start and the film has earned Rs 92 crores worldwide in just three days. If the buzz continues like this among the audience in the future, then it is expected that ‘Dhamal 4’ can become the highest grossing film of the franchise. It has been reported that the budget of ‘Dhamal 4’ will be between Rs 115 crore to Rs 125 crore.
