Devshayani Ekadashi 2026: Every year, the fast of Devshayani Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. According to Drik Panchang, this year the fast of Devshayani Ekadashi will be observed on 25th July. Devshayani Ekadashi is considered very important among all Ekadashi, because on this day Lord Vishnu goes into Yoga Nidra and with this the four month Chaturmas begins. This year Chaturmas is starting from 25th July.
It will conclude on 20th November, on Devuthani Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. On this day, God will wake up from Yoga Nidra and take charge of the world once again. The importance of fasting and worship of Devshayani Ekadashi does not diminish due to Lord Vishnu going into Yoga Nidra.
