
The recent strong earthquake in Venezuela has caused huge devastation. Big buildings have been reduced to debris. More than one thousand people have died there. Along with this, many people have gone missing and are being searched. In this time of crisis, many countries have come forward to help Venezuela. India is also included in these. India has supplied a large number of relief materials through Operation Amistad.
According to the information, under Operation Amistad, a team of 41 members has been deployed in Venezuela, which includes rescue workers and medical professionals. This team has set up a field hospital unit in Venezuela and is providing medical help. This team will work closely with Venezuelan authorities for search and rescue operations, emergency medical assistance and humanitarian relief operations in medically affected areas.

India sent relief material
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, while sharing a post on social media, said that relief material, medical equipment and a field hospital unit sent to earthquake-hit Venezuela under ‘Operation Amistad’ have reached there. He said that it is expected that field hospital units, relief material, medicines and medical equipment will strengthen the ongoing relief operations after the earthquake in the country. Along with this he also shared some pictures.

‘Operation Amistad’
The Indian Air Force also shared a post on social media and gave information about ‘Operation Amistad’. “Acting with speed, reach and sensitivity, two C-17 Globemaster aircraft of the Indian Air Force completed a arduous 23-hour flight to Venezuela and covered an aerial distance of over 14,000 kilometers from Delhi to Caracas,” the Army said.
The IAF said the plane carrying 66 tons of humanitarian aid landed at Maiquitia International Airport in Caracas. It said the assistance includes an Indian Army field hospital, more than 35 tonnes of relief material, medicines, medical equipment and two Bhishma Cubes. It said that this shows India’s ability to deliver hope to different continents when needed.
Relief material and rescue team of 41 members
India has launched ‘Operation Amistad’ to provide humanitarian assistance to earthquake-affected Venezuela. Death toll may increase
Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 have caused devastation in Venezuela on Wednesday evening. It is being told that the death toll in the earthquake has increased to 1,450. There is a possibility that the death toll will increase. Along with this, many people are missing and are being searched.
