US President Donald Trump had appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to retaliate against Iran amid increasing tension between Iran and Israel. Trump had said that he would call Netanyahu and tell him that no new attack should be made on Iran. Actually, Iran had fired 11 missiles towards Israel on Sunday night. This was Iran’s first direct attack since the ceasefire on April 8.
Trump said that he would immediately call Netanyahu and tell him that the situation should be prevented from worsening. He says that at this time it is most important that the situation be calmed down and no new fight of any kind starts. However, despite Trump’s appeal, Israel has attacked many cities of Iran. The Israeli Army has attacked Central and South Iran. Israel fired ballistic missiles at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. Also attacked the drone production unit after Najafa.
The Israeli Air Force struck military targets belonging to the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran a short while ago.
