Filmmaker Lakshmi R. Iyer has accused the makers of the show of glorifying affairs outside marriage and infidelity. Online viewers are also making such allegations against the show’s contestant Satish Sanpal and his wife Tabinda Sanpal. During an episode of Desi Bling, Tabinda said- Satish goes out to party, I know he goes out to party with other girls. It’s fine when there is a different girl every time, but if there is only one girl every time, that is a problem for me. If this is Satish’s party then it cannot happen without girls.
After this statement of Tabinda, she is facing a lot of backlash on social media. One user wrote – So now wives are justifying their husbands having girlfriends. Another user wrote – So now we will justify this thing.

Posting on social media, the filmmaker wrote – I saw a viral clip from a reality show named Desi Bling, where a wife is justifying her husband’s cheating by saying that everything is fine, as long as the girls are separate. Stop justifying this wrong thing. In your quest to be modern and cool, you are setting a wrong example. Being loyal and truthful with your partner is still the best thing.
