Paper Leak Row: There was a lot of uproar in the Parliament even on the fourth day of the monsoon session. The proceedings of both the houses have been adjourned before they could begin. The opposition is continuously demanding discussion on paper leak and resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The government says that it is ready to discuss the paper leak but the opposition is obstructing it. He does not want this to be discussed.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that paper leak should not be politicized. The opposition came to the House for unconditional discussion. The opposition’s protest is not right. The government is ready with the opposition on every issue.

Rijiju said that PM Modi has clearly said that strict steps will be taken for the youth. We stopped everything and got ready for discussion. But today the opposition again ran away from the discussion in the House. This is the time for youth and students to work together. Imposing a condition for resignation shows that the opposition has no intention of discussing. If there is discussion they will be exposed.

Open challenge to the opposition, come and discuss – Nitin Nabin

At the same time, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin said that the government is ready for discussion. There is an open challenge to the opposition to come and discuss in Parliament. We are ready to answer every question. On this, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that first Dharmendra Pradhan should resign, we are ready for discussion. After this the proceedings of the House were adjourned for some time.

Demonstration of government and opposition at Makar Gate of Parliament

Before the beginning of the session, government and opposition MPs demonstrated vigorously at the Makar Gate of Parliament. MPs from both the parties raised slogans. PM Modi made a big announcement on Thursday regarding the paper leak. He announced the formation of fast track court.
