Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) had called for a Parliament march on Monday (July 20) demanding the paper leak and resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Police are investigating
The allegation in the FIR is that the miscreants gathered illegally and disrupted public order, obstructed government work, indulged in violent activities and damaged public property. All these allegations are being investigated by the Parliament Street police station as per the provisions of the Indian Judicial Code, Arms Act and PDPP Act.
4 FIR registered
Delhi Police has so far registered a total of 4 FIRs in this case, while the process of registering 2 more FIRs is going on. The first FIR has been registered in the case of flying a drone without permission in the Delhi district area during the Parliament session. The second FIR has been registered on charges of conspiring to commit violence. Police claim that during the investigation many important evidences related to this case have been recovered.
Apart from this, two other FIRs have been registered on charges of obstructing government work, assaulting policemen and damaging government property. At the same time, Delhi Police is preparing to register two more FIRs. These cases relate to assault, taking law into one’s own hands and other related offenses under various sections of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS).
Violence broke out during the demonstration
Yesterday the protesters vandalized police vehicles and also threw stones at policemen. It is being told that more than 118 soldiers of Delhi Police and Central Police forces have been injured. Around 60 protesters have also been injured in police action. Rain and tear gas shells were used to stop the protesters.
