
At least 21 people died in a massive fire that broke out in a restaurant located in Malviya Nagar, Delhi on Wednesday morning. A large number of people have also been injured in the accident. More than 30 people have been saved through relief and rescue operations. PM Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow over the Malviya Nagar fire and expressed his condolences to the people killed in the accident. Also announced compensation for the victims of accidents. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also expressed grief over the fire. He said, “I am deeply saddened by the fire incident in Malviya Nagar. The local administration is engaged in relief and rescue operations. My condolences to those who have lost their family members in this heart-wrenching incident. May God give strength to the bereaved families to bear this grief. The best medical facilities are being provided to the injured. I wish speedy recovery to all the injured.

Along with this, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also expressed deep sorrow over the Malviya Nagar accident. He said in his post on social media She further said, I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and strength and courage to all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.”

Chief Minister Rekha further said, “As soon as information about the fire incident was received, teams of Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Police, DDMA, CATS ambulance service and other emergency response agencies were immediately activated, who started rescue and relief operations. With the help of prompt action, many people trapped there were successfully evacuated and saved.”

Regarding the situation, Chief Minister Rekha said, “Delhi government is closely monitoring the situation. All necessary medical help and support is being provided to the affected families. In this hour of grief, the Delhi government stands strongly with the affected families. We are committed to providing all possible assistance to the people affected by this tragedy.”
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on the accident, the news of death of a large number of people and injury of more than three dozen people due to fire in a hotel in Malviya Nagar is extremely heartbreaking. May God grant peace to the departed souls. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.” He also said that my appeal to Congress colleagues is to please help the affected people as much as possible.
