
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met the victims of Malviya Nagar fire on Thursday. About 26 hours after the accident, she reached Max Hospital to meet the people injured in the incident. During this, the Chief Minister talked to the injured and their family members. Reviewed the ongoing treatment with doctors and directed officials to provide all necessary assistance. Rekha Gupta also announced compensation for the victims. The relatives of the deceased will be given Rs 10 lakh each while the injured will be given Rs 5 lakh each.
The medical expenses of the injured will be arranged in coordination with the hospital administration to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care. Arrangements are being made to take the mortal remains of the deceased to their ancestral homes. Delhi government says that the government stands strongly with every affected family. We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and strength to the bereaved families in this difficult time. Let us tell you that 21 people died in this accident while many people were injured.

21 people died in the accident
21 people died while many were injured in the Malviya Nagar fire. After the accident, it was revealed that the hotel had permission for only six rooms but 20-25 rooms were built in it. Under the old scheme, the landlord could take license only for one-six i.e. 10-12 beds. But Lemon Green Restaurant and Hotel Floris Stay in Malviya Nagar had 25 rooms.
