Preparations are on to make Delhi Eye the new tourist attraction of the capital. According to media reports, a huge swing (observation wheel) about 35 meters high will be built in it, which will have closed and safe cabins. By sitting in these cabins, people will be able to see the beautiful view of Delhi from height.

It has been said that this place has been prepared in such a way that families, children and tourists can spend time comfortably here. Food, seating and entertainment facilities can also be developed around it. It is said to be inspired by the London Eye. If this work is completed, it can become a new attraction for tourists visiting Delhi.

What are the preparations of DDA regarding Delhi Eye?

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) wants to build this attraction in Mayur Vihar District Center in East Delhi. About 3.84 acres of land has been earmarked for this.

DDA has sought expressions of interest (EOI) from private companies to give them the responsibility of building, running and maintaining it. It has been said that it will be developed through government and private partnership, so that it can be operated in a better way.
