
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday participated in three ‘Developed India Resolution Conferences’ organized at different places in the capital. This conference was organized to commemorate 12 years of service, good governance, development and public welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has achieved unprecedented and historic achievements in development and public welfare schemes. By serving the nation continuously without any leave, he has given India a new and strong identity at the global level.
The Chief Minister also participated in the ‘Developed India Resolution Conference’ at Pitampura in Shalimar Bagh Assembly, West Enclave of Shakurbasti Assembly and Mahalakshmi Vihar of Mustafabad Assembly. At Pitampura, he also listened to the Prime Minister’s popular radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ along with public representatives, workers and a large number of citizens present.
CM Rekha Gupta praised PM Modi
Addressing the conferences, Rekha Gupta said that in the last 12 years under the leadership of PM Modi, the country is making unprecedented progress in many areas like Digital India, modern infrastructure, railways, expressways, airports, defense production, transparent governance and DBT. ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ has today become the basic foundation of the country’s development and Delhi Government is also continuously moving forward with this spirit of service.
Development work is going on rapidly in Delhi
The Chief Minister said that the Delhi Government is fully committed to implementing the Prime Minister’s vision of water conservation (Catch the Rain campaign), ‘Vocal for Local’ and nature conservation. Drawing a blueprint for the development of the capital, the CM made it clear that after the formation of the government in Delhi, development works have been given a fast pace in all the 70 assembly constituencies without any political discrimination. Work is going on war footing to strengthen roads, sewers, drinking water, schools and hospitals. With the support of the Central Government, projects that have been stalled for years are being completed at speed.
Municipal Corporation got Rs 2,800 crore
Referring to the revival and cleanliness campaign of Yamuna, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the government is working on its scientific and long-term solution. All major drains falling into Yamuna are being tapped in a phased manner and new sewage treatment plants are being set up. Special financial assistance of Rs 2,800 crore has been provided to the Municipal Corporation to improve Delhi’s sanitation system and the number of modern cleaning machines on the roads is also being continuously increased. The sole aim of our government is to improve the life of every individual irrespective of the religion, caste or creed of the citizen and connect him with the mainstream of development.
Work on the vision of ‘Developed India 2047’
The Chief Minister said that in accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Developed India 2047’, the Delhi Government will continue to work to realize the resolve of a developed Delhi. With the coordinated efforts of the Central and Delhi governments and active participation of the public, the country’s capital will establish new dimensions of development.
New 300 buses and tree plantation campaign
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is fully committed to developing a world-class public transport system in the capital. In this series, a grand inauguration of 300 new modern and air-conditioned electric buses will be done on 4th July. He said that taking forward this trend of environmental protection, a mega campaign to plant 70 lakh saplings across Delhi is also being started from 7th July.
