
Taking an important step towards the expansion of digital banking services, Delhi Nagarik Sahakari Bank Limited on Saturday launched the bank’s ATM and debit card service. On this occasion, Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister of Delhi Government, Ravindra Indraj Singh was present as the chief guest. The program was organized at Hindi Bhawan, Vishnu Digambar Marg, ITO, New Delhi. On this occasion, along with the introduction of ATM service for the first time, the gold loan facility was also launched by the bank.
Information about various new initiatives by the bank was also shared with the aim of expanding digital banking services and providing more convenient and modern banking experience to the customers.
Minister of Social Welfare and Cooperation Ravindra Indraj Singh In his address, he said that the cooperative sector is an effective medium to economically empower the common citizens.
Digital empowerment of cooperative sector
He said that taking forward the Prime Minister’s vision of prosperity through cooperation, cooperative institutions in Delhi are being connected with modern technologies and digital services.
He said that the expansion of digital banking facilities will provide more transparent, simple and convenient services to the common citizens and will give new strength to the cooperative sector.
He said that the Delhi government is making continuous efforts to strengthen the cooperative sector and work is going on to make banking services more accessible, modern and public friendly.
ATM of Delhi Nagarik Cooperative Bank started
Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Chairman of Delhi Nagrik Sahakari Bank Limited, in his address said that the bank is continuously working by giving top priority to the convenience and trust of the customers.
He said that the introduction of ATM and debit card facility is an important achievement towards the development of the bank. Also, efforts are being made to provide simple and quick financial assistance to the customers through new services like gold loan.
He said that the bank is continuously working to expand digital services, strengthen the ATM network and make online banking facilities more effective and smooth, so that customers can get the benefit of better and modern banking services.
