Pooja Bhatt Rejected Aashiqui: Pooja Bhatt had just made her Bollywood debut with her father Mahesh Bhatt's film 'Daddy'. Recently in an interview, Pooja Bhatt revealed that after its flop, she had decided not to work in films. Recalling that time, Pooja Bhatt said that when Mukesh Bhatt approached her for 'Aashiqui', she rejected it. The reason for rejecting 'Aashiqui' was not anyone but her boyfriend. Talking about this film, Pooja Bhatt said that her boyfriend at that time did not like the fact that she was an actress. Her boyfriend did not want her to act. For this reason Pooja Bhatt had rejected the offer of 'Aashiqui'. Pooja Bhatt said, "I was offered 'Aashiqui'. For the first and last time in my life, my uncle Mukesh Bhatt had brought wads of notes to my house. He said, 'This is your signing amount.' But I told him that I have decided that I will not act anymore." Pooja told that she was in love at that time and her boyfriend did not like that his girlfriend worked in films. However, she also clarified that her boyfriend had never directly asked her to quit acting. He said, "I just wanted to be a good girlfriend and so I decided to stay away from films." After this decision of Pooja, Mukesh Bhatt called Mahesh Bhatt and said, "The daughter has gone mad and is refusing to go to the film." After this, when Pooja talked to her father, only the sound of his deep breathing was heard on the phone. Mahesh Bhatt was very angry with this decision." Mahesh Bhatt said to Pooja, "The destination may or may not be fixed, but the flight is fixed. You have no idea that you are making the biggest mistake of your life." Pooja told that after this her father did not talk to her for about two weeks. Even when his name appeared in the credits of 'Daddy', Mahesh Bhatt clapped in a funny manner. Later Pooja Bhatt went to the sets of 'Aashiqui', where her mind changed. Then she decided that she would continue her career in films. After this he worked with Aamir Khan in 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi' and later made his own identity in Bollywood.
