Darwish Rasooli: Came to play despite father’s death, then met with an accident on the field twice, painful ending in debut match

India vs Afghanistan 2nd ODI: A very bad thing happened to Afghan batsman Darwish Rasooli in the second ODI match between India and Afghanistan. This right-handed batsman got injured not once but twice in the match and he had to retire hurt. The sad thing is that this was the debut match of Darwish Rasooli and he participated in this match despite the death of his father. Darwish Rasooli’s father passed away after the Dharamshala ODI match and he returned to Afghanistan for his last rites, but before the Lucknow ODI, he again joined the team and got a chance to debut, but the debut match of this player was very sad.

He was in so much pain that he had to be taken out of the field on a stretcher. Once again the muscles of his leg got pulled. He was seen in a lot of pain and this player had to leave the field.

Darwish Rasooli is Afghanistan’s next star

Darwish Rasooli is being considered as the next star player of Afghanistan. This 26 year old player is famous for his explosive batting in first class cricket and List A cricket. Rasooli has scored 2681 runs in first class matches at an average of 60.93. In List A, this player has scored 3022 runs at an average of 54.94. This player has scored 10-10 centuries in both the formats. Afghanistan has so far given Darvish a chance only in T20 International and now he was given a chance to debut in Lucknow ODI but he unfortunately retired hurt.
