This track is done on the frozen Zanskar river in Ladakh. In winter, when the river completely turns into a thick sheet of ice, people go on this trek. Pin Parvati Track, Himachal Pradesh

Pin Parvati Track of Himachal Pradesh is known for its beauty as well as dangerous routes. This track connects Parvati Valley to Spiti Valley. The roads here are very narrow and slippery. At many places, trekkers have to cross icy glaciers and fast flowing rivers. Due to high altitude there may be difficulty in breathing. However, the mountains, lakes and snow covered peaks here make the journey memorable.

Stok Kangri Track, Ladakh

Stok Kangri track is counted among the most difficult and dangerous tracks of India. This track reaches a height of about 20 thousand feet. Strong icy winds, steep climbs and lack of oxygen become big challenges during trekking here. Many times the track has to be stopped midway due to bad weather.
