Killer Movie Set Blast: A major accident occurred during the shooting of Tamil actor and director SJ Surya’s upcoming film ‘Killer’. A 26-year-old man lost his life in this accident and three other crew members were seriously injured. The shooting of a film was going on at Bini Mills in Perambur area of Chennai on Tuesday, in which the bomb blast sequence was being filmed, when this major accident took place. After this incident, the police have registered the case and started investigation. The makers of ‘Killer’ have not yet issued any statement regarding this incident that happened on the set.
The shooting of ‘Killer’ was going on for several days in Bini Mills. During the shooting of a sequence at around 5 am on Wednesday, a gas cylinder exploded, injuring four technicians. The people present on the set hurriedly took everyone to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, where doctors declared 26-year-old Madan, a resident of Maduravoyal, dead. Shaktivel (27), Surya (23) and Dinakaran (24) are seriously injured in this accident. All these crew members are currently admitted in the ICU and are being treated.

Were the makers following all the safety rules during the shooting? This is also being investigated. Besides, officials are also investigating from the angle of technical fault. Police have sent the body of Madan, who lost his life in the accident, for autopsy. The crew members of the film are in shock after this accident. Many people have expressed condolences towards Madan’s family.
