Pressure has increased on Trinamool Congress national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee regarding service shelter. Another FIR has been registered against the Trinamool MP at Bishnupur police station. Earlier, a complaint was lodged at Diamond Harbor Police Station. On Saturday, BJP leader Abhijit Das Bobby had lodged a complaint at Bishnupur police station. Apart from Abhishek Banerjee, many other people are named in the FIR. Sumit Roy and Jahangir Khan are also included in the list.
After the change of power in the state, many sensational allegations have been made against Sevashray. There have been allegations of financial fraud worth crores of rupees. The administration has said that the service shelter of Diamond Harbor did not have any government permission. The Health Department has started its own investigation into the allegations of irregularities in Sevashram.
A report has also been called from Navan. Orders have been given to investigate how this shelter was running openly despite not having any approval or license from the health department.
New FIR registered against Abhishek
Meanwhile, due to complaints being lodged in two consecutive police stations regarding Sevashraya. Abhishek Banerjee The problem has increased. Based on the complaint of Abhijit Das, Bishnupur Police Station has registered an FIR and started investigation. A case has been registered under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Atomic Energy Act and National Medical Commission (NMC) Act.
Who else is named in the FIR?
Abhishek Banerjee’s name is in the first FIR. Apart from this, Abhishek Banerjee’s PA Sumit Roy, Abhishek’s close aide Ayan Ghosh Dastidar, Phalta’s Pushpa Jahangir Khan, Shamim Ahmed, Gautam Adhikari, Mehboob Gayen, Nabakumar Betal, Dilip Mandal, Baban Ghazi are also accused. Apart from this, FIR has also been registered at Bishnupur Police Station against the doctors, technicians, lab staff and nurses who tested the patient.
Abhishek started the first Sevashraya program in January 2025. This program ran for two and a half months in his Lok Sabha constituency Diamond Harbour. Then in December 2025, Sevashray camps were organized again. This time, along with Nandigram, Sevashray camps were also organized in Diamond Harbor. Before the assembly elections, controversy had started regarding Sevashray camp in Nandigram. After the change in the state, many allegations were made against Sevashraya.
