
A meeting of the Council of Ministers was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This meeting took place after 11 months. PM Modi himself posted the information about what was discussed on X. He told that it was discussed how to take the reforms further to realize our common dream of ‘Developed India’.
Prime Minister Modi said that he had a fruitful meeting with the Council of Ministers in which best practices to make life convenient and promote ease of doing business were discussed and views were exchanged. What did PM Modi say?
Modi wrote on social media platform X, a meaningful meeting of the Council of Ministers was held yesterday. We discussed ideas and best practices for pursuing reforms to make life easier for people, promote ease of doing business and realize our shared vision of a developed India. All Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State with independent charge and Ministers of State participated in this meeting which lasted for about four hours.
This was the first meeting of the Council of Ministers this year. The Prime Minister had earlier said that his government’s Sudhar Express has brought about systemic changes and has significantly benefited the citizens.
According to sources, the Prime Minister asked his Council of Ministers to set a target of making India a fully developed nation by 2047. He told the ministers that their aim should always be to make people’s lives more convenient and easier.
What message to the ministers?
According to sources, Modi said that there should not be any kind of interference in people’s lives. Sources said that the Prime Minister asked the ministers to take all possible steps so that people can get maximum benefits of the government’s welfare programs.
PM Modi said that this is the time to look ahead and not get entangled in the work done in the past. He said that the government has been in power since 2014 and the focus should be on future goals and achievements in 2026.
According to sources, he advised the ministers to remain focused on governance and effective implementation of schemes. The Prime Minister also emphasized that there should not be any delay in government work.
