Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has once again said that there is a conspiracy to defame him through the controversial video. He said that he is not in that video. He alleged that this conspiracy was hatched at the behest of Sukhbir Badal. Bhagwant Mann says that ever since a strict law has been made on sacrilege, propaganda has started against him.
Bhagwant Maan Told that earlier these same people used to say that strict law should be made on sacrilege and when it was made then they were asking why should it be made? In the whole matter, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal also said that the opponents are trying to defame Bhagwant Mann by making him angry with his good works.

While talking to the journalists, Chief Minister Mann said that recently some orders were issued against me by the Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib regarding a video that the video is of Bhagwant Mann and is not AI generated. But that video is not mine at all. Even when I was called to Akal Takht Sahib, I had said that I am not in that video. Neither my height nor my physical structure matches the person seen in that video.
Sri Akal Takht Sahib Highest Honor
Bhagwant Mann said that I consider Shri Akal Takht Sahib as supreme, my head bows there and I bow down. Many of my generation cannot even dream of doing anything with Shri Akal Takht Sahib. I can never deny that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is supreme, but the Sikh Sangat knows very well what kind of decisions the political appointees take there. That’s why I completely reject this video. The efforts and petty actions being taken by the managers sitting at Akal Takht Sahib to defame me at the instigation of their political masters are completely wrong.
Punjab resides in every pore – Maan
Bhagwant Mann said that Punjab resides in every pore and heartbeat of my heart. I am working day and night for Punjab. People have liked the strict laws made by the government against sacrilege and now they feel that this is also going against them as to why they could not make such a law themselves. Earlier, the same managers of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee and Akal Takht Sahib used to say that why the government does not make the law, and when the government made the law, now they are saying that why did it make it without asking us, we do not accept this law.
Bhagwant Maan said that I request the Sangat not to fall prey to their cheap tricks, the Sangat will take the final decision. As long as you have given me this responsibility, I will continue to take decisions on my behalf towards Punjab and in favor of Punjab.
