Congress’s ‘Maha Rozgar Mela’ on Rahul Gandhi’s birthday, more than 150 companies will gather at Talkatora Stadium on June 19

On the occasion of the birthday of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress will organize ‘Maha Rozgar Mela’ at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi on June 19. More than 150 reputed companies and institutions will participate in this job fair starting at 10 am. The fair is being jointly organized by the Indian Youth Congress and Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee.

Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib said that on scanning the registration code, the Indian Youth Congress website will open, where the form can be filled. He also told that offline registration is also being done. Also, if any youth is not able to register earlier, then he can directly reach Talkatora Stadium on June 19 and register himself on the spot. He told that youth from 10th pass to post graduate can give interview as per their qualification. The registration process to participate in the job fair is completely free.

Chib said that the process of this mega employment fair will be completely transparent. Youth will be interviewed as per their qualification and if selected, offer letter will be handed over on the spot. Even after the conclusion of the employment fair, the helpline number issued by Congress will remain active for one month. If any youth faces any problem in joining after receiving the offer letter, it will be resolved through this helpline.

Sharing the figures of previous events, he said that last year there were 18,000 registrations in Delhi, out of which about 7,000 youth got employment opportunities. Whereas 3,000 youth got employment in Jaipur and about 10,000 youth in Patna. The average selection rate in these events was around 30 percent. According to Congress, the youth of the country and Delhi are facing the biggest unemployment problem in 45 years. Along with unemployment, inflation is also increasing. In this environment, Congress is trying to give a new hope to the youth. He said that last year, about 3,500 youth got jobs on the spot on the very first day, this time this figure will be even bigger.
