Congress sounds election bugle in Punjab, trust again on Raja Vading, Channi becomes campaign committee chief

Amarinder Raja Vading will remain Punjab Congress President. Once again the Congress High Command has expressed confidence in Vadding. Apart from this, former Chief Minister and Jalandhar MP Charanjit Channi has been appointed chairman of the election campaign committee. The Congress High Command has announced its election committees in view of the Punjab Assembly elections. It is being told that in view of the Punjab Assembly elections, the Congress high command has announced its election committees.

Assembly elections are to be held in Punjab next year i.e. 2027. Before this, Congress has made a major reshuffle in the organization. Party’s National President Mallikarjun Kharge has also announced the names of Chairman and Co-Chairman of various election related committees as well as the working presidents of Punjab Congress. Congress has formed several election committees for Punjab elections. Amarinder Raja Vading will remain Punjab Congress President.

Chairman of Singla Election Management and Coordination Committee

Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been appointed chairman of the election campaign committee. Vijay Inder Singla will be the chairman of the election management and coordination committee. The command of the core committee has been handed over to Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. MP Dr. Amar Singh has been appointed chairman of the manifesto committee.

Meanwhile, Congress has made it clear that Amarinder Singh Raja Vading will remain the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. Pratap Singh Bajwa will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party. After the approval of the Congress President, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary KC Venugopal has released the official list.
