The issue of theft of offerings in the Ram temple of Ayodhya is a hot topic these days. There is a lot of politics going on on this issue. From Congress to Samajwadi Party, all the opposition parties are continuously targeting the state and central government. Meanwhile, a high level delegation of Congress will reach Ayodhya on Tuesday (June 30) and have darshan of Ram Lalla. This delegation will be led by Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai. Along with him, MPs Kishori Lal Sharma (Amethi), Rakesh Rathore (Sitapur), Ujjwal Raman Singh (Prayagraj) and Tanuj Punia (Barabanki) are also included.
Here the administration is on alert to stop the leaders from having darshan. There is news that police has reached outside the house of Congress MP Ujjwal Raman Singh in Prayagraj. Singh is currently in his residence located in Ashok Nagar of Cantt police station area. The police is trying to stop them before going to Ayodhya.

Ajay Rai under house arrest in Ayodhya
Meanwhile, Congress leader Ajay Rai has been placed under house arrest in Ayodhya. Rai alleged that in Ayodhya the police took him into custody and took him out of the hotel and made him sit in a police vehicle. He termed this action as dictatorship of the BJP government. The party called it a violation of democratic rights and raised questions on the action of the administration.
The fear and cowardice of the BJP government has been completely exposed.

‘The dictatorship of BJP government is at its peak’
Ajay Rai issued a statement saying, ‘The dictatorship of the BJP government is at its peak. The delegation of Uttar Pradesh Congress had come to Ayodhya for darshan and worship of Lord Shri Ram. I had just reached Ayodhya when the police detained me from the hotel and took me away in their jeep. He said, ‘Why are those involved in land scams and alleged theft of offerings in Ayodhya afraid of the arrival of Ram devotees? Those doing politics in the name of Lord Shri Ram are trying to guard the faith, which is condemnable. He said, we will neither stop nor bow down.

Ajay Rai’s wife Reena Rai said that the BJP government is ready to stoop to any extent to suppress her husband’s voice. He said that after being taken in the police jeep, our colleagues are now being misled by giving wrong information. He said that our fight against Chichdhawa thieves will continue. She said that if anything happens to her husband, the entire responsibility will be on this BJP government.

Apart from this, the Congress party alleged that Pratapgarh District President Neeraj Tripathi, who accompanied Rai, has also been taken into custody by the police. The party demanded the authorities to immediately release all detained Congress leaders and termed stopping devotees from worshiping Lord Ram as “unconstitutional”.
