Commonwealth Games 2030… All stadiums in Ahmedabad will be ready by 2029

Preparations for the Commonwealth Games to be held in 2030 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat are going on in full swing. People of the organizing committee related to the Games claim that all the venues for sports events will be ready by the month of September 2029. At present Narendra Modi and Veer Savarkar Stadium is ready. If we talk about the entire venue, the main ones are Veer Savarkar Sports Complex and Sardar Vallabhbhai Sports Complex.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Complex includes Aquatic, Narendra Modi Stadium, Tennis Center and Multipurpose Arena. Along with this, some games will also be held in Gujarat Police Academy. According to the information, the Aquarium Center with a capacity of 12000 spectators will be ready in the year 2029. Along with this, the capacity of spectators in the tennis center is 24000, which will be ready in the year 2029.

The capacity of spectators of the Multi Purpose Arena will be 18000 which will be ready by 2029. National Institute of Sports Center will also be built by 2029. Also, the athletics stadium of Gujarat Police Academy with a capacity of 50,000 spectators will be ready by the year 2028. With this the shooting center will be ready by March 2029.

How will Sardar Patel Sports Complex be?

Ahmedabad is rapidly getting ready to host the Centenary Commonwealth Games in 2030. World-class stadiums like the state-of-the-art ‘Sardar Patel Sports Enclave’ and the Rs 852 crore ‘Veer Savarkar Sports Complex’ are being built in the city. The main events will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium and Sardar Patel Sports Enclave. Apart from this, state-of-the-art sports complexes and indoor arenas have been built in other parts of the city like Narayanpura.

Sports Enclave spread on the banks of Sabarmati River

This ambitious sports enclave is spread over approximately 236 to 350 acres of land on the banks of the Sabarmati River. International standard stadiums and courts are being built here for more than 20 Olympic sports including athletics, football, hockey, basketball, tennis and swimming. A state-of-the-art tennis center will be built in the eastern part, a huge indoor stadium with a capacity of 18,000 is being built for events like gymnastics and basketball.
