Commonwealth Games 2026 Medals Tally List: India won one medal in the first 3 days. Then on the fourth day, she jumped one place in the medal table by winning one gold and one silver. But, on the 5th day of Commonwealth Games 2026, India won not one or two but 6 medals. Now the question is, after winning 6 medals in a single day, where has India reached in the medal table? The big thing is that there will be 5 big opportunities for India to win medals even on the sixth day of play, by capitalizing which it can leave more mark in the medal tally.

2 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze… India at number 8

The six medals won by India on the 5th day included one gold and three silver medals. Apart from this, India also won 2 bronze medals. However, after winning these medals, there was no impact on India’s position in the medal table. The Indian team is still at 8th position like before. He has a total of 2 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze in his account.

These players became India’s ‘medal’ heroes on the 5th day

India won the gold medal in the women’s para shot put F57 event on the 5th day. Sharmila Dhankar won the gold of this event with her best throw of 9.81 meters.

After this Ajaya Babu won the silver medal in weightlifting men’s 79 KG category. He lifted 149 kg weight in the snatch round and 181 kg weight in the clean and jerk round.

Sarvesh Anil Kushware won the silver medal for India in the men’s high jump with a jump of 2.25 meters. He is the first Indian to win a silver medal in the men’s high jump event of the Commonwealth Games.

The feat of India’s women weightlifters continued on the 5th day as they won one silver and one bronze for India. For India, Dnyaneshwari Devi won the silver medal in women’s 53 kg category. India’s Bindiya Rani Devi won the bronze medal in the women’s 58 KG category.
