Comedy Movie Box Office 2026: The era of comedy films has returned in Bollywood. Yes, this is not being said just like that. Within the last three months, three big comedy films came at the box office and all three of these films ruled the hearts of the audience. People liked these films very much and they also made a lot of money. This series started with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhoot Bangla’. After that, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ was also successful in earning well. Now ‘Dhamal 4’, which released a few days ago, is also making waves at the box office.
Comedy films have always been liked in the world of cinema. But a lot changed in Bollywood after the Corona period. While many big films were seen yearning for the audience, many small budget films from which there were less expectations surprised everyone by earning bumper money. If we talk about this year itself, many comedy films were released, but they failed at the box office. These include a film based on the famous TV show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’, which the audience was longing for.
Comedy films like ‘Rahu Ketu’, ‘Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective’ and ‘Ginny Weds Sunny 2’ met a bad fate. Similar situation happened with Kapil Sharma’s film ‘Dadi Ki Shaadi’. Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ also failed to show anything special. In such a situation, it seemed that the audience is no longer showing that big heart for comedy films. But again the audience’s interest has returned towards comedy films.
